We are very excited to add G-ROSK as our new balloon for the 2024 season. G-CCOT has now been sold to Lucas, who will be flying from Krakow in Poland, we wish him every success and I personally hope that he enjoys flying it as much as I did.
Why the change of balloons? Well none of us are getting any younger and G-ROSK is a lightweight balloon. Compared to G-CCOT, 65 kgs lighter, or 10 stone if you like. We will still be able to fly Pilot plus 2 people with a similar flight duration on less fuel. It will be easier to handle and more fun to fly. Roll on next month when we hope to do some crew training flights, before recommencing flights at the start of BST (end of March).
