Rachael & Andrew from Wigan’s second attempt at their balloon flight, the first cancelled by bad weather. Take off from Stirton, followed initially by a good wind direction at low altitude transformed into a rubbish wind direction at height as we drifted towards the moor and an area without roads. Good news though as we found a good wind direction at about 1000′ which took us towards the Barden Road from Eastby, where we were able to land on a friend’s farm track.
